The Humbert Droz company is a true family story. Since 1956, four generations of passionate individuals have succeeded one another and contributed to the company's development. The story begins in Besançon, the French capital of watchmaking, where the company was founded by Marcel Humbert-Droz, a watchmaking enthusiast who would hand over the reins 12 years later to his son, Jean Humbert-Droz, a recent graduate of the Besançon watchmaking school. The expertise was then passed on by his son, Frédéric Humbert-Droz, starting in 1995. The founder's grandson took over the company with passion and spearheaded a major project for the business: the relocation of its premises to the Alpia Business Park in Besançon in 2004. More recently, Julien Humbert-Droz, great-grandson of founder Marcel Humbert-Droz, has taken the helm of the Réparalux workshop and manages the teams. A graduate of the Arts and Crafts program, he guides the watch repairers working in the company's various departments.

Humbert-Droz specializes in the assembly of new products, jewelry assembly and mounting, the assembly of microtechnology products, after-sales service for major watch brands, and logistics. This successful family business owes its expertise and experience to the most prestigious watch brands, as well as to a clientele of leading watchmakers, jewelers, and fine jewelry retailers.

Charlie Paris x Humbert-Droz Réparalux : We use the services of the Humbert Droz company for the assembly of the movement. G100, present in our collection Alliance 68H. A timepiece with a refined design and exceptional performance. Equipped with the G100 automatic movement from the Swiss manufacturer La Joux-Perret, it offers a 68-hour power reserve and high precision. Its Case Crafted from 39.5 mm diameter 316L stainless steel, this watch combines elegance and robustness with polished and brushed finishes. Available in three elegant colors (white, sage, and blue), it features a double-domed sapphire crystal with an anti-reflective coating, a sapphire crystal case back revealing the movement, and water resistance to 3 ATM. A sporty yet refined timepiece, ideal for watch enthusiasts.

Indeed, Humbert-Droz has earned the trust of the La Joux-Perret manufacture for the assembly of their movements, which is why this movement is considered a Franco-Swiss collaboration. As part of this partnership, we had the opportunity to visit Julien Humbert-Droz and his team last November.
