1. Freestyle Football, the rise of a new sport

Freestyle football is a blend of sport and art, combining acrobatics, juggling, dance, and gymnastics, all with a football. This emerging discipline is a true technical showcase, resulting in numerous shows and various national and international competitions held throughout the year. Freestyle football battles pit two competitors against each other, each with 30 seconds to express their artistic style and technical skills. Freestyle football is a rapidly growing sport. Despite the lack of a federation officially recognized by the Ministry of Sports, numerous associations are emerging in France, such as "Foot Freestyle France," the leading association. At the global level, the governing body is the WFFA (World Freestyle Football Association). Freestyle football practitioners and competitors actively hope for the creation of a federation and secretly dream of their entry into the Olympic Games. 

2. Pola Gomez, the hope of women's freestyle football

Pola Gomez is the reigning French Vice-Champion and 8th in the world in freestyle football. After two ACL tears, her dream of becoming a professional footballer vanished, but Pola bounced back to become one of the best freestyle footballers in the world. Pola, an ambassador for the city of Grenoble during the 2019 Women's World Cup, successfully balances her professional life with her sporting career. She studies at the Savoie Mont Blanc University in Chambéry while also training and traveling for collaborations and partnerships with brands such as Charlie Paris. This talented freestyle footballer promotes and develops her still relatively unknown sport through social media, particularly Instagram and TikTok. Pola has a large following and gives significant visibility to all her projects, with no fewer than 73,000 followers on Instagram and 450,000 on TikTok. 

At only 20 years old, this young prodigy is destined for a very bright future.
